ABSTRACT
The objective of this session is two-fold: 1) address various aspects of the design-for-reliability of aerospace instrumentation, with an emphasis on quantitative (including probabilistic) assessments of the likelihood of its operational failure and 2) bring together system engineers and human psychologists working or interested in various aerospace metrology and human-in-the-loop related problems, in which the reliability of the instrumentation and human performance contribute jointly to the outcome (success-and-safety) of a particular aerospace mission or an extraordinary situation. Submissions (first abstracts and then, if accepted, - full-length papers) should be sent electronically at www.metroaerospace.org. Track organizers are: Prof. Pasquale Daponte (daponte@unisannio.it); Prof. Alfonso Farina (alfonso.farina@outlook.it); and Prof. Ephraim Suhir (suhire@aol.com). If you have questions, please contact either of them.
